Raising a concern<\/h3>\n\t\t<span class=\"accordion__icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span>\n\t<\/button>\n\t<div class=\"accordion__content\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion__inner\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1005\" data-end=\"1284\">Girbau is committed to conducting business with integrity, transparency and accountability. We encourage employees and others connected with our business to raise concerns where they believe that wrongdoing, misconduct or a breach of legal or ethical standards may have occurred.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1286\" data-end=\"1403\">Girbau provides a confidential reporting channel through which concerns can be raised and appropriately investigated.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1405\" data-end=\"1579\">Reports may relate to matters including suspected fraud, corruption, breaches of law or regulation, health and safety concerns, unethical conduct or other serious wrongdoing.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\n<div class=\"accordion\" data-accordion>\n\t<button class=\"accordion__trigger\" aria-expanded=\"false\" data-accordion-trigger>\n\t\t<h3 class=\"accordion__title\">2. How reports are handled<\/h3>\n\t\t<span class=\"accordion__icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span>\n\t<\/button>\n\t<div class=\"accordion__content\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion__inner\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"3002\" data-end=\"3076\">Reports will be handled appropriately and, where possible, confidentially.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"3078\" data-end=\"3313\">Girbau will take reasonable steps to protect the identity of individuals who raise concerns and of other individuals identified in a report, subject to applicable legal requirements and the need to investigate the matter appropriately.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"3315\" data-end=\"3403\">Reports will be reviewed and, where appropriate, investigated by authorised individuals.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"3405\" data-end=\"3536\">Where further information is required and contact details have been provided, Girbau may contact the person who raised the concern.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"3538\" data-end=\"3690\">Individuals who are the subject of a report will be treated fairly and with appropriate regard for their rights, including the presumption of innocence.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"3692\" data-end=\"3862\">This replaces a <strong data-start=\"3708\" data-end=\"3723\">huge amount<\/strong> of the Spanish section referring to Article 5.2, seven-calendar-day acknowledgements, three-month investigations, Spanish prosecutors etc.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"3864\" data-end=\"3993\">Those deadlines might be mandatory for Girbau S.A. under Spanish law, but we shouldn&#8217;t present them as UK statutory requirements.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\n<div class=\"accordion\" data-accordion>\n\t<button class=\"accordion__trigger\" aria-expanded=\"false\" data-accordion-trigger>\n\t\t<h3 class=\"accordion__title\">4. Confidentiality and protection from retaliation<\/h3>\n\t\t<span class=\"accordion__icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/span>\n\t<\/button>\n\t<div class=\"accordion__content\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion__inner\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"4054\" data-end=\"4170\">Girbau is committed to providing an environment in which genuine concerns can be raised without fear of retaliation.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"4172\" data-end=\"4285\">Individuals who raise concerns in good faith will not be subjected to retaliation as a result of making a report.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"4287\" data-end=\"4462\">Girbau will take appropriate steps to protect confidentiality and prevent victimisation or other detrimental treatment, in accordance with applicable law and company policies.<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\n<div class=\"accordion\" data-accordion>\n\t<button class=\"accordion__trigger\" aria-expanded=\"false\" data-accordion-trigger>\n\t\t<h3 class=\"accordion__title\">5. an individual from making a protected disclosure to an appropriate external body where permitted by
