Girbau has appointed Martí Giralt as its new President, reinforcing its leadership model at a pivotal moment for the company’s global development and the consolidation of its growth in international markets.
With more than 30 years of leadership experience—17 of them in industrial environments—Martí has built a strong track record in international settings, combining strategic vision with a focus on operational efficiency. In recent years, he has been part of the executive team at Fluidra, where he contributed to the company’s global expansion and consolidation. Previously, he held senior management roles at Frans Bonhomme España and Chupa Chups.
His appointment is aligned with Girbau’s strategic evolution, aimed at strengthening its global positioning and continuing to drive a sustainable growth model based on innovation, customer intimacy, and operational excellence.
“Girbau has a solid foundation, a strong international vocation, and a clear commitment to its customers. The goal is to continue building on these pillars and advance the development of the group together with the entire team,” said Martí Giralt.
In this new phase, Àlex Alamany, who has served as interim President in recent months, will take on the role of Corporate President, partnering closely with Martí and remaining a key member of the Executive Team.
