ADMINISTRATION AND ACCOUNTING MANAGER

At Girbau, we are looking for a Administration and Accounting Manager to join the Finance team at Girbau in Vic, Barcelona.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the company’s accounting records up to date, ensuring accuracy, control, and proper record-keeping.
  • Act as the main point of contact with labor and tax advisors, providing the necessary information for the preparation of tax returns.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reporting in accordance with the criteria established by the group in GSA (Vic).
  • Provide support to the GSA (Vic) accounting team when availability allows.
  • Manage administrative and accounting documentation related to suppliers, clients, and banks.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank transactions, invoicing, and payments.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and the group’s administrative policies.

Education & Professional Experience

  • This role is suitable for a professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with SAP and strong proficiency in Excel and databases will be considered an advantage.
  • An advanced level of English is preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, structured working methods, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

The position will involve periodic visits to the Málaga branch, with an initial onboarding period that includes traveling to the branch for two weeks per month during the first three months to receive training and become familiar with the working systems.
