Great success of Girbau at the Clean Show 2019 in New Orleans

What attracted the fairgoers and exhibitors the most was the live demonstration of the ST2700 model with a vacuum-assisted feeding table, Girbau’s Compact+ 5 in 1 (feeding, ironing, drying, folding and stacking in a single machine), the FT Maxi towel folder, the FR+ folder and the DRF automatic feeder. During the demonstration of the Compact+, the efficiency of the machine was shown by feeding in large items like sheets, which came out perfectly ironed, folded and stacked.

In the words of the president of Girbau North America, Mike Floyd, “the fair was a huge success, and it enabled us to connect with buyers interested in our equipment and our solutions in the design phase. We presented new products and solutions in all business segments designed to improve production, efficiency and performance in the world of laundry.”

The commercial and industrial laundry products displayed included the broad HS Series washing machine range with high-speed extractors (400G) and load capacities that vary from 9 kg to 155 kg. These machines offer a floating design for simple installation and highly flexible smart control. Likewise, the different capacities of the dryers were also demonstrated.

As explained by Mònica Cuatrecases, Marketing Manager of the Girbau Group “the Clean Show is clearly the perfect location for Girbau since it is a fair where we can display much more than just products and machines. Thanks to our expert staff, we were able to share knowledge and explain to different laundry owners how to expand their businesses to other market segments.”

For the vended segment, Girbau had the chance to display its wide range of floating and rigid washing machines, as well as its dryers and ironers for self-service laundromats. Among other solutions, it promoted the Express Laundry Center, a high-speed “turnkey” laundry concept.

According to Joel Jorgensen, GNA vice-president of sales, “we chose the widest and most diverse line of floating washing machines in the laundry industry and expanded them even further by introducing the machine with a 57 kg load capacity. This model was launched by the company 40 years ago and has been operating in the industrial segment, but ever since it’s been available for self-service laundromats, it has sparked a great deal of interest among operators.”
